Doug Gatlin

As Senior Vice President for Global Service Delivery with USGBC and GBCI,
Doug is responsible for strategic execution of critical programs including
LEED and other GBCI certifications, test development and delivery, and
enterprise wide support resources. Throughout his tenure Doug has
been committed to the user experience. He led the launch of LEED v4 on the
program delivery side and worked to establish new strategic enterprise
programs such as LEED Volume and Proven Provider. He also served as Director
of LEED For Existing Buildings, supporting the launch of LEED EB:O&M.

Doug has spent most of his career creating market transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining USGBC he worked for nearly 10 years with the U.S. EPA's
ENERGY STAR Buildings, and before that was a program manager at the
Washington, DC based Climate Institute.

Doug holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Duke and a Master’s in
Public Policy from Georgetown. He lives with his wife and two children in
Silver Spring, MD.
