Site Engineer; Fort Irwin Army National Training Center; Nov 2011- Present. Responsibilities include overseeing operational improvements in water, wastewater and distribution facilities, ensure 100% compliance per contract requirements, assist management in multiple on-site construction projects and annual studies.

Assistant Project Manager; Gilroy Wastewater Treatment Plant; South County Regional Wastewater Authority; Jan 2010 – November 2011. Responsibilities included recommend additions or improvements to the treatment facilities and analyze cost effectiveness. Assist on the planning for over a million dollar budget for the project. Prepare monthly reports for the clients as well as local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Assist with development, bidding, and oversight of multiple Out of Scope Projects. Lead sustainability efforts on plant’s operations as well regional support. Assist on daily lab testing for quality control (Free and Total Chlorine Residuals, Ammonia, TDS, Conductivity, TKNs, BODs, CODs, TSS, etc). Responsible for improving reporting platform for NPDES permits to meet California regulations (electronic versus paper). This has improved our QA/QC methodology as well as reduce reporting hours.

Staff Engineer; Perdue Water Treatment Plant; Sweet Water Authority; Spring Valley, California; Sep 2009 – Present. Responsibilities included creation of Operation and Maintenance Manual for the upgraded Chemical Feed System. The document incorporates a clear description of the chemical feed system for the Ammonia, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Cationic Polymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Chemical Safety practices, etc.
Staff Engineer; Alexander-Bellevue Water Main Project; City of Anderson; Anderson, California; June 2009 – August 2009 Responsibilities included the field inspection of 90% design phase, analyzed specification design to current field conditions, installed service connections and coordinated with property owners.

Staff Engineer; Red Bluff Pumping Plant and Fish Screen; Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority; Red Bluff, California; June 2009 – Present. Responsibilities included earthwork calculations for the Fish Screen, generated profiles for designed pipe on discharge ponds, executed water quality testing at the Sacramento River, obtained information with corresponding agencies on environmental requirements.

Staff Engineer; Twin Oaks Water Treatment Plant; Twin Oaks, California; June 2008 – January 2009. Responsibilities included leading and developing the monitoring water quality plan during the assessment test. Items include verifying an understanding of the water quality parameters specified in the contract. Hydraulic analysis including, but not limited to, identifying high pressure areas, effect on the system of additional strainer, climate change effect was completed to outline the plant’s potential improvement areas. Attended internal meetings and workshops and presented the results from hydraulic analysis and provided coordination assistance on several hydraulic tests with the client and plant operators.
Staff Engineer; Well Development 40; Los Angeles County Sanitation District; Palmdale, California; May 2008 to June 2008. Responsibilities included supervising survey and drilling crew in the installation of 4 inch monitoring wells. Installed water pumps and generated daily reports. Obtained water samples from monitoring wells by operating a pressure control box (PCB) and performed head loss analysis on the addition of orifice plate for a development pumping to obtain desired flow rate.
