Hardik Miyani is a Decarbonization Project Manager for Baumann’s Chicago office. He is the Co-Chair of Baumann’s Energy Audit & Retro-Commissioning Committee. Hardik is passionate about saving energy and helping our environment. Hardik provides insights on practical ways for energy management which helps his clients reduce costs while also helping the planet! His focus is to help achieve the client’s goal of “Triple Bottom Line”, by reducing costs associated with energy consumption and maintenance, migrating climate change through carbon dioxide reductions, and improving occupant comfort and health.
Throughout his career, Hardik has won several regional, national, and international awards for making substantial contributions in terms of education, research, engineering, and volunteering. Currently, he is on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Strategic Energy and Environmental Planning (IJSEEP) for the Association for Energy Engineers (AEE). In the past, Hardik has served as the Auxiliary Board Member and Sustainable Facilities Mentor of the Illinois Green Alliance and as President of the ASHRAE UIC student chapter.
