Harriet Grindel

Leawood, KS

Harriet is an Architectural Designer. She graduated with a BA in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and an MArch from Parsons School of Design. Harriet has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2006 working on various educational, commercial and retail projects throughout the region. For the past three years, she has volunteered on the USGBC Central Plains Chapter Communications Committee, most recently serving as Committee Chair in 2011-2012. Since 2009, Harriet has represented the USGBC Central Plains Chapter to the Heartland Regional Committee. In 2011, she became a member of the Inter-Regional Communications Working Group representing the HRC. In 2012, Ms. Grindel was elected Vice Chair of the Central Plains Chapter and is looking forward to serving as Chair in 2013. Harriet is excited to continue to represent the Chapter, the Region, and the opportunities that are to come.
