Jo Gallo

Ms. Gallo is a LEED Accredited Professional with Bachelor Degrees in both
Business and Psychology. Jo has been an active member of the New Jersey
Chapter of the US Green Building Council for several years. She has 20 years
combined experience in Consulting, Sales and Construction Project Management.

Jo has an extensive background in building envelope and green (vegetative and
cool) roofing as she has been involved with the design and implementation
green roofs since 2002. She shares achievement of two prestigious Green Roofs
for Healthy Cities (GRHC) Awards of Excellence and has worked indirectly on
many other award winners. During her tenure as a green roof professional, she
has provided consultation and analysis on storm water reduction, urban heat
island reduction, energy minimization and conservation and the benefits that
green roofs provide the living environment.

Prior to her tenure in green roofing Jo within the field of building envelope
providing consultative measures to reduce energy costs, prolong building
material life and guidance on construction materials.

Most recently, Jo worked as a Regional Manager for Waste Management where
she led a team of Sustainability Consultant Professionals. Jo's team
specialized in environmental consulting, energy and water conservation and
reduction methodologies, waste minimization and zero waste plan development
and implementation, overall environmental related cost savings for real
estate investment trusts, major international/ national retail brands and
public and privately owned hospitality brands.
