Julie Donna

Julie Donna is the new Sustainability Project Coordinator of Louisville Metro Government, working on projects to mitigate the city's urban heat island and build community resilience to climate change. Julie recently graduated from Public Allies, a professional development program for emerging leaders in the public sector.

Julie has previously worked at the City of Cincinnati Office of Environment and Sustainability helping to incorporate inclusive and equitable citizen input into the Green Cincinnati Plan. She has most recently worked with the regional sustainability alliance Green Umbrella, coordinating initiatives to protect greenspace, increase energy efficiency, and reduce food waste. Julie holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Biology and Environmental Science.
