As Sustainability Manager for W. R. MEADOWS, my role is to proactively initiate and elevate W. R. MEADOWS’ sustainability, enterprises internally and externally to our customers. I am responsible for maintaining and increasing company
focus on various aspects of sustainability via the development of HPD’s, EPD, and subsequently, toward
reductions in W. R. MEADOWS’ carbon footprint.
My credentials include WELL AP, LEED AP ID+C and fitwel ambassador. I have participated in board level positions at the U.S. Green Building Council- Illinois (now Illinois Green) since 2002. I have extensive experience in green building certifications such as LEED, WELL, fitwel, Passive House and LBC as well as being involved in my local community as past chair of its Environmental Improvement Commission. My previous positions include Administrator of the Illinois Recycling Association and Sustainability Manager with Mohawk Commercial and CBC Flooring. I feel fortunate to have volunteered with many groups and individuals who inspire what we do. Most recently on was on the 2023 Greenbuild Advisory Panel, currently serve as co-chair on the HPDC Technical Committee, am involved in the American Coatings Association Sustainability Committee and ASTM Committee E60 on Sustainability.
In my last position, I was a materials specialist for Wight & Company, an integrated design-led/design-build firm which also focused on transportation and infrastructure projects. I tracked projects for AIA 2030 and participated with all disciplines to find better for solutions for our Structural, MEP, Civil, Landscape and Architecture departments. I also promoted responsible material selection and supported materials transparency initiatives, including participation in the Health Product Declaration Collaborative User Advisory Group, and past chair of the mindful MATERIALS Collaborative Review Group.
