Originally from Houston, Lina moved to the DC area in 2021 and lives in Old Town Alexandria with her husband and dog. She started her career as an engineer at Turner Construction, where she grew her passion for sustainability by facilitating LEED GA study groups, attending Greenbuild conferences, and spearheading Earth Week activities. She now serves within the ESG Advisory group at JLL as a project manager. Lina works with clients to achieve their sustainability goals through managing building certifications, ESG reporting, and implementing program strategy design.
