My passion in life is to create positive impact on people and the environment through my profession.

Since April 2010, I have been in charge of the company THREE Consultoría Medioambiental @ THREE is a USGBC® and a MexicoGBC member since 2011. We are pioneers in environmental consultancy services through state of the art software and complex technologies, focused to the building industry. As a company we have also design and taught Sustainable Development and LEED® courses at Universities, government secretariats, and private companies such as General Electric.

In 2008 I began working as an Environmental Consultant in the WSP Built Ecology team, which is a specialist environmental service of WSP Lincolne Scott and WSP Flack and Kurtz; two international building services engineering companies. In this position I was able to add creativity and passion to the engineering profession; first in their San Francisco office, and then in their Sydney office. During my time at WSP Built Ecology I had the opportunity to participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of sustainable built environment projects – from a small sustainable business rating tool to a 22 hectare urban renewal Clinton Climate Initiative Project, which was designed to achieve Carbon Neutral, Water Positive, and Zero Waste targets. As part of this project I participated in the research of many international environmental rating tools for the built environment including the detailed analysis of all LEED green building certification programs.

For the past seven years, I have been a volunteer at the Mexico Green Building Council (MexicoGBC), where in 2006, a small team of enthusiasts including myself organized the first International Congress and Expo for Sustainable Building in Latin America – with speakers from 23 different countries, over 1,200 participants, 30 exhibitors and multiple site visits. For the past 2 years I have been teaching LEED courses organized by the MexicoGBC, instructing at least 20 courses countrywide and 3 international courses in Portugal. Most recently I have participated with the governmental Foreign Affairs Office (SRE) and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Office (SEMARNAT) to provide policy advice for Mexico and other developing countries. In 2008 I earned the LEED AP® credential, and in 2011 the Building Design + Construction (BD+C) specialization.
