I attended North Carolina State University, majoring in environmental science
with a concentration in urban design and development and a minor in Spanish
language. During college, I had internships at a large commercial real estate
development firm and at a family-owned tree care company. Both positions were
customer-oriented and research-based, producing resources for the companies
that help to best serve their customers. I was also a Student Ambassador at
NC State to the Department of Forestry & Environmental Resources, and a team
member in the 2018 B Corp Clinic with the NCSU Business Sustainability
Collaborative.

Following graduation, I set out to find a career through which I could have a
role in changing our world for the better. Over the course of this job search
I found myself in Utah, exploring the state's boundless natural beauty and
working through the winter at a ski resort that received over 700 inches of
snowfall.

After digging myself out of all that snow, I ended up in Washington, DC
working a dream job at the U.S. Green Building Council. As the Education
Solutions Associate, I am responsible for helping the Education Team manage
the content available through our online platforms, and supporting the
partners and stakeholders that contribute to, use, or otherwise engage in our
education platforms.

Personally and professionally, I am driven by my passions to protect the
planet, improve the lives of people, and to explore both the human and
natural worlds around us.
