Osvaldo 'Ozzie' Gonzalez

Global Director of Sustainable Solutions

Ozzie is an urban ecologist and changemaker who is making his mark on the
world. Trained as an Environmental Scientist and Architect, Ozzie has
dedicated his career to designing solutions for cities that bridge
environmental health with community prosperity and has helped re-define the
role cities can play in creating a sustainable world. He is also in an active
campaign to become PortlandÂ’s next Mayor.

Ozzie is a founding member of the US Green Building CouncilÂ’s 1st LEED User
Group and currently represents the 2nd District on the Trimet Board. He has
served as Vice-Chair of the Regional Arts and Culture Council Board, sits on
the Advisory Board of the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, and
is on the Executive Board of the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

Ozzie is also the Owner of P3 Consulting—a firm dedicated to helping solve
city problems in the interests of people, planet, and prosperity. Ozzie has
served as Regional Diversity Director for the General Contractor Howard S.
Wright and before that was the Global Sustainability Director for CH2M Hill.
Ozzie is currently running a campaign to become Mayor of the city where he
lives, Portland, Oregon.
