Scott recently retired as Principal and Corporate Sustainability Leader with
KJWW and represents extensive experience in mechanical engineering design
and overall project management.

Upon retirement, Scott started a new consultancy, Integrated Design + Energy
Advisors, LLC to expand his voice in the sustainability and LEED area through
multiple avenues with the basic goal to help owners and design teams Start

His specialties include direct digital controls, energy efficiency,
sustainable design, LEED, and systems commissioning. He is a licensed
Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional. Scott also has worked
extensively with alternate delivery methods such as integrated, design/build,
collaborative, negotiated, and fast-track. He a member of the Iowa State
University Mechanical Engineering Industrial Advisory Council and Chair of
the Program for Women in Science and Engineering, also at Iowa State.

When Director of the Project Delivery Group at KJWW, he was charged with
developing and maintaining KJWW’s commissioning, sustainable and LEED
services for the entire firm and many other corporate initiatives. He speaks
regularly on sustainability at national conferences around the country and
provides regular training on multiple subjects.

Scott was also the director of the Contract Management Group for KJWW which
sets standards for proposals, agreements, sub-consultant agreements, and
other documents used in the firm. He reviews major or non-standard contracts
for all offices of the firm, and is the resourse for unique or problematic
language to all staff.
