Ted Mendoza

With over 20 years experience in the A/E, Communications and Energy industries, Ted brings a unique and practical blend of consulting and engineering for projects in energy, telecommunications, and mechanical systems. Ted is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Mechanical Engineering and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) through the U.S. Green Building Council. Ted has many years of experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and solar (photovoltaic and hot water) system designs, including commercial, residential and industrial buildings. He also has much experience in retro-commissioning (RCx) work, engineering building analysis work, energy management techniques, energy efficiency audits, building automation and building/equipment/system inspections. Ted is also a nationally-Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and as such, his technology experience ranges from modernization projects covering many “low voltage” systems (data, voice, video, EMS, security, clock/bell/PA) to CTS equipment evaluations and technology long-range planning projects.
