William Chin

Washington, DC

William is passionate about responsibly advancing the built environment, and
helping to create sustainable, inclusive, thriving communities.

Prior to joining GBCI he served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at an affordable
housing developer, where he contributed to the organization's Policy &
Neighborhood Development Team.

He has also spent time researching climate change resiliency, including how
communities recover from natural disasters, adapt to sea level rise, or
address vacant property in their community. He also has prior experience with
various planning and development efforts in Latin America.

A native of Bowie, Maryland outside of Washington, DC, William holds a degree
in City Planning from MIT.

Lastly, William enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities
including running, hiking, canoeing and cycling, as well as traveling,
road-trips, and singing.
