As the world's first LEED Platinum-certified distillery, Aspen Vodka will undergo a one-year audit by the International Living Future Institute to meet the rigorous standards of the Living Building Challenge, the highest benchmark for regenerative building practices. This distinction will position the distillery as a leader in sustainable practices within the alcohol industry.

This commitment was evident from the early construction phase, where all waste from site demolition was salvaged and diverted from landfills. The distillery was constructed using only FSC Certified Lumber, ensuring that materials were sourced from responsibly managed forests with environmental, social, and economic benefits. Additionally, the Aspen Vodka Distillery is fully electrified and powered by onsite renewable energy, achieving net zero carbon emissions. Sustainable farming practices, including regenerative agriculture, are employed to enhance soil health.
