With it’s opening in 2001 Business Park Sofia was the singular and biggest Premium Office Park in Sofia and in Bulgaria, and the biggest of this kind on the Balkans. Situated at an extremely well-connected site, for the last 13 years Business Park Sofia has kept its position as a market leading office areas destination and has turned into an irreplaceable part of life for Sofia’s residents’ everyday life.
Business Park Sofia boasts a unique location- 2-minute walk from a subway station, multiple bus stations in vicinity, retail and public services in the park and in close vicinity. For all of this, our site has achieved almost the maximum points in the Location and Transportation occupant survey of LEED.
More than half of Business Park Sofia parking spaces are located underground, thus avoiding the related heat island effect, which increases the average temperature in cities. We conduct regular site management policy and keep our CO2 footprint to the minimum.
We monitor our energy use closely and make sure to be a leader in energy cost reduction. Our site boasts PV panels which help us achieve this goal.
We carefully manage our building’s waste, collecting recyclables separately with a thought for our planet. We have installed an Ongoing purchasing and waste policy and a Sustainable facility management and renovation policy to ensure implementing best practices into our everyday operations.
The health of our visitors, occupants and employees is a top priority for our team. Our building ventilation comply with the US ASHRAE 62.1-2010 Standard, we have implemented enhanced indoor air quality strategies and use green cleaning products and equipment only.
Business Park Sofia has earned all point under the Outdoor Water Use Reduction credit of LEED. We use a minimum quantity of water for our everyday operations. All species on our site are local or adapted.
