Career Enrichment Center Addition

The largest school district in New Mexico, Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) serves students in Albuquerque and the surrounding region including Rio Rancho, Tijeras, San Antonito, and Edgewood. To aid in APS’ goal of LEED Silver or better certification for all new construction, NORESCO has been selected as an on-demand LEED consultant for the district. Congratulations to Albuquerque Public Schools, Lee Gamelsky Architects P.C., and the entire project team for their work on the Career Enrichment Center, one of Albuquerque’s premier magnet high schools. NORESCO provided LEED certification consulting on the expansion project which achieved Silver certification under the LEED® green building program. This project achieved all 7 available points for the On-Site Renewable Energy Credit by offsetting 34 percent of the predicted energy cost through the use of on-site renewable energy.
