Citibank certified under the LEED Volume standard of the U.S. Green Building Council all the new branches used in the country, being environmentally conscious of every action taken by the bank in its remodeling.
It became the first bank in the country to achieve this type of certification. Likewise, Citibank proposes a Smartbranch strategy, trying to reduce the number of staff for customer service, thus minimizing extra facilities and spaces. The aim is to achieve free floors to enable an adaptable distribution for workers.
