The resort is efficient and sustainable, providing healthy and comfortable spaces that enhance the quality of life for its users. Its bathroom fixtures and accessories consume less potable water than 35% of similarly sized buildings. The resort also uses less energy than 86% of comparable office buildings in similar climatic conditions, emitting fewer greenhouse gases than those evaluated under the same conditions both globally and locally. Its refrigerants are free from chlorofluorocarbons and have a low potential for ozone depletion and global warming.
High-quality indoor environments not only protect occupant health and comfort but also improve overall quality of life. A comfort survey conducted among 181 users of Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo indicated a high level of satisfaction, with occupants particularly appreciating cleanliness, lighting, views, air quality, natural light, and thermal comfort.
The resort features a natural ventilation system that refreshes the air in all its spaces, ensuring a supply of fresh air and preventing the accumulation of pollutants such as CO2, particulate matter, and pathogens, including viruses. Located in a developed area, the resort minimizes urban pressure on natural zones and reduces vehicular emissions, with 32% of occupants using public transportation and 20% carpooling.
Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo follows a green purchasing policy for continuous consumables and electronic equipment, as well as a policy for green maintenance and remodeling. It produces less waste than 71% of buildings by recycling 20% of its waste and providing storage for recyclables.
