The MX3 project is Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s third manufacturing building in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, developed as a response to global contingency and join efforts to supply respiratory equipment to patients all over the world. Our goal is to create a green manufacturing facility through an innovative workspace and bioclimatic architecture, connecting our people in a sublime experience by providing natural lighting, greenery and artistic murals representing Mexico’s fauna in the surrounding environment.

The new facility was completed in 2023 – LEED Silver Certification, offering among other sustainable and energy efficient attributes, a water treatment plant to repurpose water for services and landscape, nature connected views designed for passive solar array to reduce HVAC energy consumption, material selection and monitored CO2 emissions through a Building Management System. This project leads for people, community, and environmental responsibility.
