Iconia Cubos Luxury Living, LEED-NC v3 Certified. This certification was obtained in collaboration with GI firm. Iconia is a mixed use complex that includes two apartment towers, a hotel and a mall in 704,641.84 sq. ft. of construction.
Iconia Cubos Luxury Living is located at one of the busiest areas of Guadalajara, with great density, diverse services and access to public transportation. This proximity benefits the tenants and their visitors by the ease of access through public transport.
Iconia Luxury Living has 100% underground parking to reduce the reflection impact of the asphalt that causes the heat island effect, in addition, 5.47% of the total parking spaces are reserved for low-emitting and fuel-efficient vehicles.
The building was designed to improve energy efficiency and to reduce energy costs, achieving 19% energy savings, which becomes a benefit to the tenants. Through the installation of efficient bathroom and kitchen equipments, the amount of potable water sent to the drainage was reduced by 31%. Through low consumption and regional vegetation, 53% of water savings have being achieved.
100% of regularly occupied spaces comply with ASHRAE 62.1-2007 and the air conditioning and heating system (HVAC) is 100% free of chlorofluorocarbons; improving indoor air quality. These characteristics are key to improve user’s health and productivity.
13% of the total cost of the installed materials was allocated to regional materials, a feature that benefits the local economy and helps reducing transportation emissions.
