We’re thrilled to announce that the JLL Minneapolis Office earned LEED Silver and is pursuing WELL Gold!

The new JLL Minneapolis Office is located in a newly-developed mixed use high-rise. The development includes office, hotel and multifamily components, bringing a variety of services and uses to its occupants.

In alignment with JLL’s Sustainability goals, the project optimized energy efficiency and championed occupant wellness from design through to operations.

The team set out to design a space reflecting JLL’s mission, values, and culture. The project implemented the following strategies to drive collaboration and innovation, showcasing our best to our employees and our clients.

• The base building was strategically selected to house the new JLL Minneapolis office due to its quality views, access to public transit, and proximity to the diverse amenities in the heart of Minneapolis.
• The space was efficiently designed, reducing lighting power density by 25% below the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 baseline and installing only Energy Star-rated equipment.
• The office prioritizes healthy indoor air with CO2 sensors in all densely occupied spaces and MERV 13-rated HVAC filters.
• The entire office has been constructed with low-emitting VOC materials (paint, sealants, flooring materials, composite wood, furniture, and more) to keep the office healthy and enjoyable for the contractors and employees.
• Materials with transparency documentation that showed commitment to reducing their environmental impacts and improving their product formulas were selected and vetted through the review of EPDs, C2C certificates, HPDs and Declare labels.
• Adjustable furniture was selected to enhance ergonomic comfort in occupants throughout their workday.
