Laurelton Diamonds Cambodia Plant is a showcase of the Company’s strong commitment towards sustainability. Some highlighted green features that have been put in place is as follows:

• Rain garden landscaping to manage storm water
• 100% reduction in irrigation
• recycling waste water to reduce up to 50% domestic water consumption
• double-glazing low-e windows
• insulated roof with SRI (Solar Reflectance Index) of 84 to reduce heat island effects
• energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures with lighting control
• energy-efficient manufacturing equipment (laser technology cutting machines and innovative motors) to reduce the industrial process energy consumption up to 21%.
• renewable electricity from 1.1Mwp and 0.5Mwp photovoltaic systems to offset equivalent to 47.6% energy consumption cost
• low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound)-compliant interior finishing materials
• good management of air pollution
• erosion prevention
• waste reduction during the construction phase.
