Meridiam - Americas Headquarters

Project info

Size16,833 sq ft

Meridiam - Americas Headquarters is LEED Gold office space in Washington D.C. for Meridiam, a B-Corp asset management organization. The office space is just under 17,000 sf and is expected to serve 51 FTE. Located just two blocks from the White House in a base building that is WELL HSR and LEED certified (The Mills), the office is in a prime location.

Low-flow plumbing fixtures provided by the base building allowed the project to demonstrate a 37% reduction in indoor water use.

The energy model demonstrates a 9.7% reduction in energy cost from strategies such as efficient HVAC and lighting designs. Actual energy usage will be quantified through energy submeters included in the design. Submeters are installed on the panels in the tenant space for both existing and new equipment. The data provided by these meters will be reported to the USGBC through the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. The project scope also included Enhanced Commissioning and IAQ Testing to verify the quality of construction activities before occupancy.
