ProximityParks is a company that specializes in the development and investment of industrial warehouse facilities, leveraging three macro trends: urbanization, consumer demands, and sustainability.

One of their notable projects, ProximityParks Coyoacán, is a prime example of their sustainable approach to industrial development. By repurposing an existing building, the project achieved the prestigious LEED BD+C: Core and Shell Gold Level certification. The development comprises of a main building serving as an industrial warehouse, along with office areas.

ProximityParks places a high priority on the location of their projects, strategically selecting privileged locations within urban areas to reduce the need to intervene in undeveloped lands while providing easy access to diverse services. The company also ensures that its users have access to quality public transport services.

During the design and construction phase of ProximityParks Coyoacán, a thorough survey of the existing structure was conducted to determine the sections that required demolition for safety reasons and those that could be preserved. As a result, 32% of the building was recovered, significantly reducing the project's impact on its life cycle.

The project prioritizes operational efficiency by using low-consumption equipment for lighting and water, among other efforts. Furthermore, the project generates 161,590 kWh of renewable energy per year, equivalent to 100% of the energy consumed on site.
