TVS is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA with global project expertise. This project marks a significant milestone for the design firm, which has transitioned from a separated, multi-floor office in Midtown Atlanta to a more efficient single-floor workspace that connects with the urban environment. The design team tackled three key challenges: enhancing human experiences, improving team collaboration, and fostering innovation.
With a commitment to sustainability, the team collaborated with Ecoworks Studio to set ambitious LEED and WELL certification goals, ensuring that both the policies and the physical environment support employee wellness. The project achieved the distinction of being the first in the world to receive dual LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certifications under the new Streamlined Pathway for LEED and WELL process, all while navigating budget constraints and challenging construction conditions (e.g. long lead times, high inflation). As part of the process four guiding design pillars emerged: Be Better Together, Celebrate the Design Process, Cultivate Joy, and Embrace Human and Planetary Health.
