Xylem Water Solutions

Xylem Water Solutions has achieved a LEED ID+C: Commercial Interiors v4 Platinum certification for its new headquarters, located in the Washington D.C. Navy Yard. The 17,120 square foot commercial interior project includes a lobby and office space within an existing Lumber Shed mixed-use building. From early conception, the project team integrated sustainability planning into the design and throughout the construction process. With diligent collaboration among stakeholders, Xylem Water Solutions exceeded its original LEED Gold goals and achieved a LEED Platinum certification with a focus on occupant health, material and waste reduction, and water efficiency. Along the way, Xylem Water Solutions met many synergies with the WELL Health and Safety rating system ultimately producing a sustainable interior space that prioritizes the well-being of its occupants and the environment.
