Materials Health: The Architect’s Evolving Role - Catholic University of America Event Presentations

LEED version: v4

On March 24, 2014, USGBC partnered with The Center for Building Stewardship at The Catholic University of America for a half-day discussion as part of a year-long event series examining materials and health in the built environment. This event focused on the following questions: What is being asked of architects and design practitioners about materials today that hasn’t typically been considered a core competency? And how can educators better train the next generation of practitioners to address the challenges around achieving better human health outcomes? To get a better idea of the topics discussed that day, download this collection of guest speaker presentations. Watch the Catholic University of America event and other events as part of the 2014 Materials and Health Event Series on the USGBC vimeo channel.
