USGBC Tennessee’s mission is to advocate and educate for sustainable buildings and communities across the state. We transform buildings and places to create healthy, prosperous, and sustainable communities through education, advocacy and action.

Our East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and Memphis branches have a diverse group of members that include architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and building owners and occupants. We are all working towards reducing energy consumption, water usage, and promoting environmental air quality, with over 700 LEED certified projects.

We work toward our mission by hosting tours, educational events, and social events, helping our members stay informed on green building news and developments, and organizing community initiatives, including our IMPACT Tennessee state conference and Memphis Regional Paper Power Program.
